At Thunder Stix we offer the best equipment in a unique training environment that will maximize your training experience. Thunder Stix Baseball and Softball Academy is 11,000 square feet and includes token operated batting cages as well as training tunnels that can be rented by the hour or half hour.

Automated Batting Cages
We have 4 state of the art automated batting cages. Our cages feature the Jugs Ultimate Trainer 2000 Pitching Machines. These machines are user programmable and are capable of throwing both baseball and softball. Customers may select from a variety of speeds to hit. Baseball speeds range from 40 mph to 70 mph and softball speeds from 40 mph to 65 mph.  

Three 70' Batting / Pitching Tunnels - $45 / hour per tunnel
All of our tunnel areas have artificial turf. These tunnels are each outfitted with portable L-Screens for live pitching. Additionally, we have full sized pitchers mounds and portable pitching machines that can be rented by the hour or half hour.

The portable BASEBALL pitching machines are the ATEC Casey Pro model. This is the “Official Pitching Machine of Major League Baseball”. The Casey Pro can throw fastballs, curve balls, sliders, screwballs and change-ups. Whatever, you need to work on, the Casey Pro can throw!

Our portable SOFTBALL machine is the state of the art HACK ATTACK. This is the premier softball pitching machine on the market today. The Hack Attack can throw fastballs, curve balls, screwballs, rise balls and drop pitches. Our softball players will love the variety of pitches they can hit with this awesome machine!

The netting on the three large tunnels is retractable. Therefore it can be pushed back to open up a 40 x 70 training area. This space is ideal for hitting, fielding, throwing or even base running. This is a perfect space for team drills or practices.  

One 50' Multi-Use Batting / Pitching / Drill Tunnel
This smaller cage will be open to players / members wishing to practice their batting technique and mechanics using a variety of training aids, including batting tees, a soft toss machine and hitting sticks.

Waiting Area
Thunder Stix offers a comfortable lounge area for parents waiting for their child to finish a lesson or time in the batting cages. This waiting area is equipped with wireless internet access, air conditioning and an LCD TV.
